Special Orders

This book will arrive soon. Buy it now to reserve your copy. Most titles arrive within one week. A few titles may take a little longer. We will call or email you as soon as your copy has arrived. If you prefer a used book We will do everything possible to find a used book for you. If we cannot we will provide you with a new book. Your final purchase price will be greater if we have to get you a new book.


Privacy Policy

Gray’s College Bookstore is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers. Information collected is used solely for processing your order. All information you provide to us electronically is kept confidential and will not be applied in ways to which you have not consented. We will not sell or disclose any information that identifies you to a third party.

We also collect information about your use of our site through the application of “cookies.” This information helps us customize our Web site and allows us to statistically monitor how many people are using our site and for what purpose.

Encryption is used for the transfer of data. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100 percent secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you transmit to or from our web sites.


Rental Agreement

All uses of the words “you” or “your” refer to you, the signed recipient of this contract and rental items, respectively. All uses of the term “Gray’s” refer to Gray’s College Bookstore LLC. • To rent textbooks, you must be at least 18 years of age and must reside in the United States. • Any book rented under this contract must be returned to the same Gray’s location from which it was originally rented. • Normal returns policies are in effect. Book rental is not valid with any other offer or discount. • By renting from Gray’s, you agree to vault your credit or debit card information. You agree that this card may be used to pay any additional charges that Gray’s deems necessary due to neglect of the book rental service, including, without limitation, any fees resulting from damages to rented books, lost or stolen books, and/or non-returned books. • By renting a book from Gray’s, you agree to provide a valid email address and allow Gray’s to send communications regarding your rented textbook(s). • Rented textbooks must be returned in salable condition. Salable condition means that there is not excessive writing, highlighting, water damage, spine or cover damage, or missing pages. All materials that accompany the rental textbook such as CD’s are to be returned along with the textbook. • Gray’s is not responsible for the loss and/or theft of your rented textbook(s). It is solely your responsibility to return the rented textbook(s) on time and in salable condition. • Any rented textbook returned after the Rental Return Date or returned in un/non-salable condition are subject to Non-Return Fees, in addition to late fees. Non-Return Fees are equal to the textbook(s)’s retail list price after the deduction of the rental price that was paid at the beginning of the rental agreement, a $10 penalty charge will be added to the final total. Any outstanding fees or balances will be charged to your credit card automatically. • In the event the credit card used to rent the textbook(s) is declined, canceled, or the limit is exceeded, a $50 collection fee will be assessed. You agree that we may, at our sole discretion, send your account to a collection agency if you fail to pay all fees due and owing to Gray’s. If your balance is submitted to a collection agency, we reserve the right to refuse future use of the Textbook Rental Program. • You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Gray’s College Bookstore LLC, its subsidiaries, and affiliates, and their respective officers, agents, partners and employees, from and against any loss, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, due to or arising out of your use of the rental service in violation of these Terms of Use and/or arising from a breach of these Terms of Use. • You acknowledge that you have read the ENTIRETY of the above contract, agree to all stated rules, regulations, terms, and conditions, and understand that this is a legal binding contract. You understand and consent that the textbook(s) you are renting is/are in good condition, free from excessive highlighting or writing, without spine, cover or water damage, and you will return the textbook(s) to Gray’s on or before the due date. "If at any time I provide a wireless telephone number at which I must be contacted, I consent to receive calls or text messages, including but not restricted to communication regarding billing and payment for items and services, unless I notify Gray's College Bookstore in writing. Calls and text messages include but are not restricted to pre-recorded messages, artificial voice messages, automatic telephone dialing services or other computer assisted technology, or by electronic mail, text messaging or by any other form of electronic communication from Gray's College Bookstore, attorneys or its agents including collection agencies." "If at any time I provide my email address at which I may be contacted, unless I notify Gray's College Bookstore to the contrary in writing, I consent to receiving communications regarding billing and payment for items and services at that email address from Gray's College Bookstore, attorneys or its agents including collections agencies."


Financial Aid Agreement

Held Payment Agreement All uses of the terms “you” or “your” refer to you, the signed recipient of this contract and your held payment, respectively. All uses of the term “Gray’s” refer to Gray’s College Bookstore LLC. • You are waiting for your financial aid and agree to cover the outstanding balance as soon as the funds are made available to you. • You understand that you are responsible for keeping a Manager at Gray’s informed about the status of your financial aid, and agree to abide by the instructions you have been given about any returns or exchanges until your balance has been settled. • By participating in the Held Payment Program at Gray’s, you agree to provide a valid email address and allow Gray’s to send communications regarding your account status. • You understand that if the agreed upon date approaches and you still do not have your financial aid, that it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to inform a manager at Gray’s. An extension may be requested, but will only be granted at the manager’s discretion. • If, for any reason, you are not granted financial aid or withdraw from any courses, you give Gray’s all rights to retrieve funds. You understand that you will remain liable for the entire balance outstanding. • In the event the payment method used to complete the Held Payment is declined, canceled, or the limit is exceeded, a $50 collection fee will be assessed. This fee will be in addition to any check fees if your check does not clear the bank, if applicable. You understand that you will not be able to write checks (Held Payment or otherwise) to Gray’s in the future if your check does not clear. However, you can still pay for your books with cash, debit card, or credit card. You agree that we may, at our sole discretion, send your account to a collection agency if you fail to pay all fees due and owing to Gray’s. Return Policy

* No Refund without receipt. * Last day to return textbooks for the current semester and received be eligible for a refund is the Saturday of the first week of classes * All Special Orders selected for in-store pickup that are not picked up will be re-shelved after 30 days without refund. All Special orders are final and will not be refunded once ordered unless the item fails to arrive within 5-7 business days * All Pre-Orders not picked up by the end of business on the first day of classes for your selected semester will forfeit the deposit and be re-shelved. * Non-textbook items in original condition with all price tags still attached may be returned within 14 days of purchase. * Items must be unopened, i.e. still in shrink-wrap. If opened, only 75% of the purchase price will be refunded. * New books must be returned in new condition. If not, only the used price will be refunded. * Coursepacks and Reference books are non-refundable. * All clearance items are non-refundable. *Food items are non-refundable.
